Channels are implemented using XML/RDF/RSS and allow us to provide an "information stream" with enclosed metadata. That is to say, you can subscribe to a "Methodology" channel, or a "Circuit Synthesis" channel, just like a TV or Radio channel. This also allows any of our customers or syndication partners to directly tap in to particular streams of information that relate to their business. These channels are inherently searchable, allowing you to retrieve the items you are most interested in.
