The DMX*LEV Lighting System

The DMX*LEV Lighting System is just finishing prototyping and will move into the PCB layout phase in the next few months.
The DMX*LEV Lighting System is being dual licensed, with both Open Source and Commercial Licensing available.
That means if you are a hobbyist and just want to build one for yourself, or you'd like to build a new light/device/interface for the DMX*LEV Lighting System, then you are free to do so under the Open Source License.
However, if you plan to build a commercial product, or to build units to sell, then you must obtain a commercial license.

We are already working with a few OEM bicycle manufacturers, and hope the DMX*LEV Lighting System will begin to catch on as a new standard for intelligent LEV lighting. We hope to have production units available within a few months, and will provide links to our partner's online stores as they have stock available for purchase.

We're not sure what the pricing will look like yet, so check back here for purchasing information as production units become available. Pricing will be ala-carte, so that you can pick out the type of brake switches, handlebar, light switches, etc. that work for your bike. There will be a number of different light options available as well.
