The DMX*LEV Lighting System
A DMX512/RDM512 Controlled Light Electric Vehicle Lighting System by Moxon Design

The DMX*LEV Lighting System employs the Cypress © PSoC (Programmable System on Chip) family to implement a small mixed signal (analog and digital) design. We're using the CY8C29466-24PXI part, as it has plenty of resources to work with. In the tail lights I configure eight (8) hardware PWM units, four (4) UARTS, and several Pulse Width Descriminator (PWD) blocks. We use the same part for the DMX*LEV interface controller, but with a completely different internal programming structure. That's one of the cool things about the Cypress © PSoC, it can morph the hardware to match whatever you need at the time.
