IGG is the Instant Gratification Guide channel, which is intended to help users complete various operations by providing step-by-step instructions.

Several of my first assignments as an engineer were involved with designing consumer electronics, and these taught me many valuable lessons. One of the most important lessons involved the generation of Instant Gratification Guides, which were one page documents that showed the customer how to get up and running with the minimum of steps. Customers rarely RTM ( Read The Manual ), until they are already frustrated and hunting for answers.
